TYPES OF SCUBA DIVING CERTIFICATION

Scuba diving is a gripping and rewarding activity that allows you to explore and enjoy the underwater world. Certification for scuba diving is essential to go scuba diving in all the major sites around the world.

With proper certification, divers can explore a wide range of locations and engage in more challenging dives, adding to the excitement and joy of the activity. Additionally, certification ensures adherence to industry safety standards, reducing the risk of accidents and injury.

Proper training will allow you to master the knowledge and skills needed to scuba dive safely. It is advised to complete a scuba diving course that encompasses both classroom instruction and practical experience in a pool or controlled water environment.

While training, you’ll learn how to use scuba diving equipment, communication, and emergency procedures needed to do while underwater.

There is a wide range of certification organizations that offer training and certification programs. The most widely and commonly recognized is the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), then there are other organizations such as the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI) and the Scuba Diving International (SDI).

Even though there are many different levels of scuba diving certification, they are substantially divided into two main types: recreational and professional. Based on your age and expertise, you will be advised to choose the course accordingly.

With this certification you can dive into places around the world like French Polynesia, Palau, Bali, Maldives, Portugal Bahamas, Australia and many more.

The Advanced Open Water Diver certification level is what most recreational divers try to aim towards. This level allows you to perform deeper dives and you can safely dive anywhere in the world.
