Discover the delicious world of traditional Bengali sweets in this hands-on cooking class! Learn to prepare 5 popular Bengali sweets from scratch, exploring a variety of milk-based desserts, delicate textures and rich flavours.
In this session, you’ll learn to make:
- Rasgullas
- Kesar Rasmalai
- Malai Sandwich
- Chamcham
- Stuffed Malai Bati
You will learn:
- Preparation of chenna-based sweets from scratch
- Making milk-based sweets with saffron and creamy fillings
- Techniques for shaping, cooking and assembling different Bengali sweets
- Preparation and finishing of all five featured recipes
A great class for anyone interested in traditional Bengali desserts, Indian mithai and learning to make popular Indian sweets at home.
