Bouquet Builders: Budding Florists Workshop

Flowers are a beautiful and versatile medium for creativity. In a flower arrangement workshop, kids can learn how to select, match, condition, and arrange flowers to create their own unique bouquet or a centerpieces.

At the start of the workshop, kids will be introduced to the different types of flowers and foliage that are available. They will learn about the different colors, textures, and shapes of flowers, and how to choose the right flowers for their arrangement. Next, kids will learn how to condition their flowers. This involves trimming the stems and placing the flowers in water to help them last longer.

Once the flowers are conditioned, kids will begin to arrange them. The instructor will teach them about the different principles of flower arrangement, such as balance, proportion, and harmony. Kids will have the opportunity to experiment with different arrangements and express their own creativity. The instructor will be there to provide guidance and assistance, but ultimately, the goal is for kids to have fun and create something that they are proud of.

At the end of the workshop, kids will take home their own flower arrangement to enjoy. They will also have learned a new skill that they can use to create beautiful flower arrangements for any occasion.
