Welcome to STEM Camp Spring 2024. Each day kids will focus on 2 activities. Schedule as follows:

Week 1: (24th March to 28th March)

3G Robotics (10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon): In this course, they will learn how to build and program robots using the EV3 platform from the LEGO MINDSTROMS. The student will deal with four kinds of sensors namely: Ultrasonic, touch, Gyro, and Color/Light. Also, they will use two large motors and one medium motor. They will build different robot types and will program them using a software that uses a user-friendly graphical user interface
Robotics Rubics Cube (12:30 to 1:30 PM): Students will design and build a robot capable of autonomously solving a Rubik’s Cube. They’ll integrate sensors to detect colors, program algorithms for solving, and optimize their design for accuracy and speed. Through this project, they’ll apply STEM concepts, fostering problem-solving skills and understanding of robotics.

Week 2: (31st March to 4th April)

App Inventor (10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon): IApp Inventor is an introductory course to Android App development for 11+ year old students. App Inventor utilizes drag and drop programming blocks to develop Apps. Students will explore the basic technology that they use every day. They will learn how to create their own Apps and download them onto their mobile devices or tablets.
STEM Activity (12:30 to 1:30 PM): Engage students in hands-on learning experiences that integrate concepts from science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. These activities are designed to foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, creativity, and teamwork.

Fun Robotics is a KHDA-approved specialized robotics center in Dubai.
