Imagine lighting a customized candle, while you sit in your comfiest chair, reading your favorite book...Here's your chance to make your own candle using the scent and color you prefer, and take it home with you when you're done! Learn the art of candle making in this private, 3-hour class, where you will be guided by a talented instructor who will take you through the process step-by-step. Students will learn five ways of candle making:
1. Soy wax
2. Paraffin wax.
3. Beeswax
4. Beeswax with coconut oil
5. Soy wax with Paraffin
6. Soy wax with beeswax
Soy wax is a 100% natural wax derived from the vegetable soybeans, while paraffin wax is a white or colorless soft, solid wax and is a refined by-product. Beeswax is a natural wax produced by honey bees. You will learn the right ways to use these base ingredients in your candle creations. What You Will Learn:
- How to melt the wax, the right temperature to use, and cool-down time
- Following all the safety measures
- Fixing the candle thread base
- Adding scent, color, and flavor
- Finalizing the product
