Learn the art of candle making in this private, 3-hour class, where you will be guided by a talented instructor who will take you through the process step-by-step. Students will learn five ways of candle making:
1. Soy wax
2. Paraffin wax.
3. Beeswax
4. Beeswax with coconut oil
5. Soy wax with Paraffin
6. Soy wax with beeswax
Soy wax is a 100% natural wax derived from the vegetable soybeans, while paraffin wax is a white or colorless soft, solid wax and is a refined by-product. Beeswax is a natural wax produced by honey bees. You will learn the right ways to use these base ingredients in your candle creations. What You Will Learn:
- How to melt the wax, the right temperature to use, and cool-down time
- Following all the safety measures
- Fixing the candle thread base
- Adding scent, color, and flavor
- Finalizing the product
