    Vinyasa Yoga is a creative form of yoga branched from Hatha Yoga, where poses are linked together with the breath in a flowing sequence: one breath, one movement! The transitions or movements between postures are equally important. Moving safely and with awareness between postures can help to prevent common yoga injuries. As benefits of a regular Vinyasa yoga practice we can say that the steady cycle of inhales and exhales provides you with a calming, mental focal point; the continual movements, from one pose to another, gives you an added cardiovascular benefit creating internal heat; increased strength and flexibility – whether slow or fast-paced, Vinyasa classes are a great workout for your body. In my Vinyasa Yoga sessions, we start with a small guided meditation to bring ourselves to the present moment, preparing mind and body for the following asanas (poses) sequence. As this is a more creative style, pace and intensity may be discussed with the client before the session, and the series of movements that can even be customized as per clients’ needs/desires of the specific moment or following a practice routine developed for that day and. Usually, classes may be sequenced around a peak pose, or they might focus on a particular theme, and then we cool down the body, adding counterposes, leading the body for final relaxation in savanasa. Vinyasa Yoga is great for beginners and more experienced yogis, but especially if you are familiar with yoga poses and how to do them, want to get a cardio and strength training workout during the yoga session, like to feel challenged during your yoga session, these moves at a faster pace and greater breathing control of Vinyasa are ideal for you!
