FRENCH LANGUAGE WINTER CAMP 2025 (JLT) -->

he French Language Camp helps children develop communication skills and cultural appreciation through engaging, age-appropriate activities. The three-week program focuses on everyday French use, pronunciation, and confidence building.

Week 1 – Greetings & Self

• Ages 5–9 (Play-Based Learning): Children learn basic greetings like bonjour (hello) and au revoir (goodbye), colors, numbers 1–10, and family members through songs and interactive games.

• Ages 10–15 (Communicative Focus): Students practice formal and informal greetings, share personal information such as name, age, and nationality using simple introductions like Je m’appelle… (My name is…), and develop pronunciation skills.

Week 2 – Daily Life & Environment

• Ages 5–9 (Play-Based Learning): Kids explore vocabulary for animals, simple commands like assis (sit) and debout (stand), and emotions such as heureux (happy) and triste (sad) through movement games and flashcards.

• Ages 10–15 (Communicative Focus): Learners discuss their school and home routine using everyday expressions for time, weather, and surroundings, supported by guided dialogues and pair activities.

Week 3 – Food & Culture

• Ages 5–9 (Play-Based Learning): Children learn names of foods and drinks, express preferences with J’aime (I like) and Je n’aime pas (I don’t like), and enjoy culture-based crafts.

• Ages 10–15 (Communicative Focus): Students role-play ordering food in a café, make polite requests using s’il vous plaît (please), and explore French-speaking countries and traditions.

By the end of the camp, participants will speak French more confidently and appreciate its global culture through fun, creative, and interactive learning experiences.
